Sometimes a movie just works. Denzel and Chris Pine rock the train ride as this story unfolds into a thrilling, back in the seat, white knuckled adventure that I should have went to see in the movies. While it’s story isn’t a quite reaching as an emotional fan favorite, this movie chewed me up and was enjoyable from the first minute.
If you don’t remember, there was a train in a city up north that gets away from the conductor in a train yard and the throttle is set to full-blast. You can’t imagine the sinking feeling you get as you scream at the jack-butts that sit there and watch it ride off thinking “just run up to it.” Washington and Pine are joined by a nice and well-rounded case.
Take it from me, this is a great movie and very enjoyable for anyone, I think.
