Ugh. You would think that a film with such a great cast would rise above this “Crash” reboot. 133 minutes of story building are not well rewarded in the end. Make sure you have plenty of time to waste when you begin this film or maybe put it on and clean the house and watch in the corner of your eye. It’s only fair to give the same amount of attention to watching it as the writers put into making it work. I also felt a little bit of “Traitor” when Don Cheadle began to find his undercover role unrewarding.
There is so much to say about this movie but I will sum it up really fast.
Three cops find themselves in situations where they would rather be somewhere else and are forced to make decisions that are particularly out of character. You know this decision are bad because the first 110 minutes you are force fed mediocre storylines as you anxiously wait for the ‘mind-melding’ end.
It just doesn’t happen. And no….Wesley Snipes’ cameo does not save this flick one bit.
